Busy, busy, busy!

On Monday we have French, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday Forest School and Thursday Pirate P.E at Shere School. But on Friday we also have 'Bakers Day.' We cook at our own station from scratch and make lots of yummy food. Pasties, cheese straws, cakes or wraps anything goes! We use lots of skills when we are cooking including: weighing, pouring, spooning, mixing, kneading to name but a few and we are experts. We also have Cook Out days in the woods when we cook on the fire. Mini omlettes, fajitas and popcorn to name just a few. In the summer we picked elder to make our own cordial.

Baby room and beyond.......!

Forest School

At Friends Forest School we know all about taking advantage of the learning opportunities the great outdoors can offer.

We are the first Nursery Forest School in Surrey, thanks to getting agreement from local landowners and training with the Wildlife Trust. The philosophy behind Forest Schools is to encourage and inspire individuals of any age through positive outdoor experiences.

There are key elements that make Forest Schools different to simply going outdoors.
