Quality Staff for Quality Care
At Friends we believe that a happy and caring atmosphere is essential. To promote this we take great care in choosing responsible, conscientious and professional staff that is particularly able to gain the confidence of young children. Our high standards are maintained with regular staff training.
The children to staff ratios are strictly maintained as laid down by the Children's Act. We operate a key carer system enabling us to meet your child's individual needs. This understanding and familiarity leads to responsive care and greater emotional stability.
All full contract employees are qualified to Montessori Dip/N.N.E.B/NVQ 3 or equivalent. In addition we have many Level 3 Forest Leaders and we support local colleges who may place students with us for assessment under strict supervision. All staff hold a first aid certificate, all have fire certificates, food hygiene Level 2 and safe guarding certificates.
We have a number of staff qualified to level 6 having completed their degrees and Early Years Professional Status and most senior staffs have a Leadership NVQ4.
